Pillow obsession

Her room

Fancy bathroom

At the risk of sounding like I never get out, I have to congratulate Aria Sydney for their choice of wall tiles. I LIKE!

I have to say I wasn't a fan of their restaurant decor but I liked these tiles so much, I stole a quick photo to go in my 'potential' file for our bathroom renovation. (Just have to buy a house first!!!!)

Row-bie

I love Row-bie. It might be sad but this little ceramic robot brings me much joy. And yes, I have a name for him.

And he is such a great listener. He never interrupts!

How many times can I change a room around?

How many times I ask you? I seem to reshuffle the furniture in my house about once a month. This is an improvement! There was a season where my husband would come home every Sunday night and I would have spent the afternoon/evening moving the furniture around.

I claim the gypsy in me.

You see my family have a tendency to move a lot. My siblings and aunties are always on the move.

I, however, am not. So to satisfy the wandering spirit in me,  I re-arrange furniture!?

The thing is, the urge to rearrange furniture  comes at odd times (midnight) & I can't seem to control it. The urge has a mind of its own.

It reminds me of that movie 'chocolat' with Johnny Deep. (Side note here: how sexy is that man!? But not as sexy as my husband of course!) "But still the clever north wind was not satisfied. It spoke to Vianne of towns yet to be visited, friends in need yet to be discovered, battles yet to be fought..."

But my urge is not the clever north wind, it is a sudden urge for a new look. Instead of traveling (can't afford that) I move furniture around. I battle with heavy wardrobes and couches and bookcases. Finally claiming "THIS IS THE BEST OUR HOUSE HAS EVER LOOKED"...

Well at least for a month anyway.

Camperdown Cafe

The husband & I have a new favourite cafe gather on the green opp. Camperdown Oval.

Have the Reuben - its great! Does anyone know why is it called the Reuben?

Fresh flowers

I love fresh flowers in the house.

Thirroul Antique Centre

This would have to be one of my favourite shops in NSW. It is a small antique shop in Thirroul, near Wollongong, NSW. Its a treasure cove begging to be explored. For a Sydney-sider Im always amazed at the prices.

I highly recommend visiting it.

I like a vintage tin or two.
